project #1: 2-dimensional photo art!

A 2-dimensional photograph is one which does not have any depth. The image is of a flat surface like a sidewalk or a table but can also be created out of silhouettes. This is an opportunity to get creative with what you can find which represents flat surfaces. 2-dimensional photography, mer! Don’t worry it’s not as boring as it sounds. For now the only goal you need to worry about is taking clear images and getting more comfortable with your shutter speed, aperture and light meter. 2-dimensional photography also demands your creativity.

For this particular project don’t pay too much attention to your aperture, and be more mindful of whether or not your images are turning out clear by using your shutter speed and aperture to alter your light meter. Chances are you won’t need an aperture wider than 4.0 or narrower than 5.6. Be unafraid of mistakes and take the time to correct your mishaps while you are experimenting.
